I’m a pediatric occupational therapist with a background in psychology and a passion for helping children thrive through play, connection, and individualized support. I love being a professional problem-solver and partnering with families to better understand each child’s unique strengths, needs, and nervous system.
My areas of focus include sensory processing, emotional regulation, executive functioning, social participation, and gross and fine motor development. I take a developmental, holistic, and family-centered approach to create thoughtful, individualized treatment plans that meet children and families where they are.
Outside of work, you’ll find me with my husband, our cats Pumpkin and Casper, and our big puppy Hazelnut—or on a yoga mat, taking or teaching a class. I look forward to getting to know you and your family.

Hi! My name is Hannah Cole, and I’m originally from Ankeny, Iowa. I earned both my Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Drake University.
I love the field of occupational therapy because it allows me to support children in growing their confidence, independence, and connection with others through meaningful, play-based experiences. I’m passionate about creating a space where every child feels seen, valued, and supported. My areas of interest include sensory integration, neurodiversity-affirming practices, emotional regulation, and developing social and play skills in children.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading books, and being outside as much as possible! I am looking forward to getting to know you and your family.

My name is Macy Ticknor. I earned my doctorate in occupational therapy from the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, NE. I love the unique lens I get to put on as an occupational therapist, as I get to look at the whole person and take into account all areas that impact a person, not just one barrier. I currently serve a diverse patient population—from infants to older adults—both in a rural health setting and here at Kids Lead, where every day brings a new opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
While I am passionate about helping individuals of all ages and diagnoses, I hold a special place in my heart for the pediatric population. I have an interest in sensory processing and looking at the way our bodies interpret and process various sensory inputs. I thrive on building genuine relationships with the children I work with, empowering them to develop the skills that matter most to them—whether it's tying their shoes, developing play skills, or confidently navigating their world.
