This series is for parents, grandparents, foster parents, and other caregivers who want to better understand their child’s development, emotions, and behavior. Your child does not need to have a diagnosis or receive services from Kids Lead for you to participate.
Registration includes the complete six-week series. Each class builds upon the topics and conversations from previous weeks, so caregivers are encouraged to attend all six sessions.

To protect the privacy of participating families and encourage open conversation, virtual sessions will not be recorded. There will be pre-recorded videos of the slides made available if you miss a session.
No. This is a caregiver education series. Children may attend the onsite childcare program during the in-person sessions, but they will not participate in the caregiver class.
No. This is an educational group and does not replace individualized occupational therapy, mental health care, or medical advice.
Registration closes October 19 or when all available spaces are filled. Sensory-safe childcare must be reserved by October 12. Early bird pricing is available through October 5th.
Household registration includes two adult caregivers. If you would like to register additional caregivers, please reach out for more pricing information.
Cancellations received by October 12 are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations received between October 13 and October 19 are eligible for a 50% refund. Registration fees are nonrefundable after October 19 because group size, materials, and staffing will have been finalized.
Missed classes are not eligible for individual refunds or credits. When possible, participants may switch between the in-person and virtual series with advance notice and subject to availability.
Childcare fees are refundable through October 12. After that date, childcare fees are nonrefundable because staffing is scheduled based on enrollment.
If Kids Lead cancels the entire series, families will receive a full refund. If an individual class must be canceled, Kids Lead will provide a make-up date, virtual alternative, or prorated credit.
A 25% registration deposit is required to reserve your family’s place in the six-week series. The deposit is applied toward the total program cost. The remaining balance is due by October 19, one week before the in-person series begins.
For the $240 caregiver series, $60 is due at registration and the remaining $180 is due by October 19. Registrations submitted after October 19 must be paid in full at the time of registration. This is pro-rated if you sign up for early bird pricing.
Sensory-supportive childcare must be reserved and paid in full by October 12. Childcare space is limited and is not guaranteed until payment has been received.
