Our individualized occupational therapy services help children participate more fully in the activities and relationships that matter most to them. Using a neurodiversity-affirming, developmental, and relationship-based approach, we partner with each child and family to understand their unique strengths, needs, and goals. Therapy may support sensory processing, emotional regulation, motor skills, executive functioning, play, social participation, self-care, and daily routines.

Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is an evidence-based listening therapy grounded in the neurobiology of safety. It uses music filtered through a patented algorithm to help shift the nervous system from defense toward regulation and connection. By supporting a felt sense of safety, it enhances clients’ capacity for presence, connection and engagement, which is known to accelerate therapeutic progress. SSP is used to support clients experiencing:
- Trauma
- Sensory challenges
- Difficulties with social communication Anxiety
- Emotional regulation difficulties

Caregiver Coaching and Education
Caregivers are an essential part of a child’s development. Our education and coaching services provide practical, individualized strategies to help caregivers better understand their child’s communication, sensory needs, regulation, and development. Coaching may be offered individually or through caregiver groups, workshops, and multi-week programs. These supportive spaces allow caregivers to learn new tools, practice strategies, connect with other families, and build confidence in supporting their child during everyday routines and relationships.

Floortime is a developmental, relationship-based approach that meets children at their individual level and builds upon their unique strengths, interests, and ways of communicating. During Floortime, therapists follow the child’s lead and use playful, meaningful interactions to support connection, engagement, shared attention, communication, emotional regulation, flexible thinking, and problem-solving. Our therapists have a unique skill that honors a child's individual needs while challenging the child and build foundational skills to meet their family's goals.
Kids Lead and 143 Speech Therapy are the only clinics in our area with a team of Floortime-trained therapists who receive ongoing mentoring and professional development. This allows us to provide thoughtful, individualized support that honors each child’s differences while helping them grow through safe and trusting relationships.
